Spellbound
(Alfred
Hitchcock, 1945)IMDB
The
famed “Dream” sequence is truly a view into Dali's paintings,
translated into physicality. His collaboration with Hitchcock
provides visual references to Un Chien Andalu, specifically with
reference to the description of the character dreaming of eyes being
sliced through. It's a very specific and surreal visual language that
he has.
